Whatever the occasion, Piropos Restaurant in Briarcliff Village offers the perfect setting with breathtaking views of the Kansas City skyline, a taste of Argentina, and a convenient location. The restaurant is just twenty minutes from anywhere in Kansas City and fifteen minutes south of MCI, the city’s major airport.

 

From the moment you arrive, our team makes it easy. We’re a full-service event venue, which means we handle the food, beverage, and service—so you can focus on your guests. We can host your Breakfast, Luncheon or Dinner event any day of the week!

Two top-flight hotels offer accommodations just minutes away from Piropos, located directly across the street—the Courtyard Kansas City at Briarcliff (816-841-3300) and TownePlace Suites at Briarcliff (816-587-4600).

A Seamless Event Experience

Planning an event shouldn’t feel overwhelming. At Piropos, our experienced Event Manager will work with you to bring your vision to life by handling all the details from setup to service.

We offer flexible private event packages for 25 to 140 guests, perfect for:

  • Wedding Ceremonies, Receptions and Dinners

  • Rehearsal Dinners, Bridal Showers, Engagement parties and Bachelorette parties

  • Corporate Dinners and Luncheons or retreats

  • Retirement Celebrations, Milestone Birthdays, and more
     

Located just 15 minutes from MCI Airport, Piropos is close to Northland Marriott Courtyard & Town Suites, and offers easy parking and ADA-accessible entry. Everything you need, in one elegant location.

Our menus feature the signature flavors that define the Piropos dining experience—empanadas, grilled meats, seafood, fresh salads, and more, all with a touch of Spanish, Italian, and French influence.

Event Spaces at Piropos

Each of our event spaces offers its own charm, flexibility, and stunning views. Explore the options below to find the perfect fit for your celebration.

Buenos Aires Room + Chapel

Located on the lower level, this flexible space is ideal for weddings, large celebrations, and cocktail-style gatherings. There is a Bar in the room.  Host your ceremony in our elegant chapel, then flow effortlessly into the Buenos Aires Room for dinner and dancing.

Room Options:

  • Buenos Aires Room capacity: 100 seated

  • Chapel only: 100 seated

  • Combined rooms: 140 seated, 150 stand-up cocktail style

  • Dance floor and reception space included

Access to Event Space:

  • 3-hour pre-event access (wedding receptions)

  • Dressing area

  • 4-hour reception room use (wedding receptions)

Amenities Include:

  • Full serving staff

  • Tables, standard chairs, Silver Chiavari Chairs available at an extra cost  

  • White or grey linens

  • China, silverware, glassware

  • Lantern centerpieces

  • AV equipment available upon request: TV, microphone, speaker, etc. (fee applies)

Pampas Room

The upstairs Pampas Room offers an intimate space for up to 40 guests—perfect for luncheons, bridal and baby showers, daytime business meetings. It features a cozy fireplace and panoramic skyline views.

Room Options:

  • Capacity: 40 seated

  • Ideal for intimate gatherings and smaller ceremonies

  • ADA-accessible entrance

Access to Event Space:

  • 1-hour pre-event access

  • 3-hour room use

Amenities Include:

  • Full serving staff

  • Tables, chairs, white linens

  • China, silverware, glassware

  • AV equipment available upon request: TV, microphone, speaker, etc. (fee applies)

Library Room

Our Library Room offers an intimate space for up to 25 guests—perfect for corporate dinners, rehearsal dinners, birthday celebrations, retirement parties and daytime business meetings. It features some interesting decor and memorabilia from the owner’s collection.

Room Options:

  • Capacity: 25 seated (30 with Chiavari chairs - extra cost)

  • Ideal for intimate gatherings and smaller dinners

  • ADA-accessible entrance

Access to Event Space:

  • 1-hour pre-event access

  • 3-hour room use

Amenities Include:

  • Full serving staff

  • Tables, chairs, white linens

  • China, silverware, glassware

  • AV equipment available upon request: TV, microphone, speaker, etc. (fee applies)
